Viktor Shvets, Committee Chairman, expressed his hopes that the hearings will contribute to the legislative support of activity of Ukrainian Prosecution, and its reforming in order to enhance its independence from political influence, and secure more accurate implementation of authorities defined by the Constitution of Ukraine.
Therefore, the Committee created a Working Group that includes the People´s Deputies, scientists, representatives of the law enforcement bodies and public associations. The Group elaborated a new Bill on prosecution, which is to be discussed.
The Working Group will take into consideration all the motions introduced at the hearings.
